NOVEMBER 2018 -LET THE FIRE FALL!!!

NOVEMBER 2018 -LET THE FIRE FALL!!!

LET THE FIRE FALL!!!

INTRODUCTION

Let the fire fall is a command that you give when Christ is fully formed in you and you begin to showcase the divine nature. May the fire of the Holy Spirit begin to fall in your favour in this season in the mighty name of Jesus .
Let the fire fall can be many things depending on who is saying it . *To the person in need,it can be an APPEAL- Matt 8:1-3 , Mk 10: 46-52 , 1chron. 4: 9-10

* To somebody defeated , it can be a SUBMISSION: Joshua 9:8 & 21 , Exo 12:31-33
*To a detractor,it can be a question:1 Sam 25:10 , 1 Sam 17:28
* To the Almighty , it is a command : Psalms 33:9
I am sure that you have seen signs placed in front of buildings that says , ” TO LET ” This means there is a space to be filled or something to give out . Every child of God has a space or something to give out 1 Corinth. 4:7 .
I pray that as you give your totality to God, He will fill you to the brim in Jesus name.

There are several types of fire that I will like to mention briefly:
1. The fire of God’s presence
2. The fire of protection / Direction
3. Purifying Fire
4. Fire of Prayer
5. Fire of Empowerment
6. Consuming fire
7. Revival fire : 2 Chron. 5:13-14, Joel 2: 28- 31

There are some characteristics of fire that impact the life of a child of God :
* Fire is bold and reliable – The word of God is preached with boldness in the church where the Revival fire is burning
* Fire confronts – Sin , evil and hypocrisy are all confronted by the fire .

Revival fire is a gift to a church that seeks it. Fire comes by Faith, righteousness, yielding to God, right attitude, single-mindedness and desperation for fire .
We need to operate in the supernatural
(God plus US = Supernatural) .
We must desire fire power Rom 8:19, Matt 24:24.
We must contend for the supernatural and we shall be filled with the Holy Spirit Isa. 10:27, Joel 2:28.

WHAT MUST WE DO TO CATCH FIRE ?

* You must repair your altar 1 kings 18:30, Act 3:19
* You must establish a covenant relationship with God 1kgs 18:31
* You must build an altar in the name of the Lord 1 kgs 18:32
* You must separate yourself from the world
* You must lay yourself on the altar of Faith and God will baptise you with Holy Ghost and fire .

BENEFITS OF REVIVAL TO A CHURCH

1. The move of the Holy Spirit will continue to take the members into a deeper dimension of praise and worship than ever before.
2. There will be a new level of stewardship
3. There will be a new kind of Love for the word of God.
4. There will be a growth of evangelism as never before.
5. There will be anew ability to meet people’s needs and the work of the devil will be destroyed in their lives .
6. The church will be aglow with outstanding miracles and hearings .
7. The church will be heavenly focused.

CONCLUSION

When the fire falls, it makes you and I to be set for the end-time revival. Receive the Holy Ghost afresh and catch the fire . Begin to manifest .

GOD BLESS YOU.

October, 2018 Taking Your Giant – Take Goliath Down 2

October, 2018 Taking Your Giant – Take Goliath Down 2

Who bet on David? Who believed in the kid from Bethlehem? Not the Philistines. Not the Hebrews. Not David’s siblings or David’s king. But God did. And since God did, and since David knew God did, the skinny runt became a blur of pumping knees and a swirling sling. He ran toward his giant. Do the same! What good has problem pondering got you? You’ve stared so long you can number the hairs on Goliath’s chest. Has it helped?
No. Listing hurts won’t heal them. Itemizing problems won’t solve them. Categorizing rejections won’t remove them. David lobotomized the giant because he emphasized the Lord. Remember, take up the stone of passion. There remains one more stone. It is the . . .

III. THE STONE OF PERSISTENCE
David didn’t think one rock would do. He knew that Goliath had four behemoth relatives. “ Ishbi-Benob, who was one of the sons of the giant, the weight of whose bronze spear was three hundred shekels” (2 Samuel 21:16). Saph made the list, described as “ one of the sons of the giant” (2 Samuel 21:18). Then there was another, “the brother of Goliath, the Gittite, the shaft of whose spear was like a weaver’s beam” (2 Samuel 21:19). These three seem harmless compared to GOLIATH
“Facing Your Giants Take Goliath Down” 4 King Kong. Another giant “ had six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot, twenty-four in number; and he also was born to the giant”(2 Samuel 21:20). Why did David quarry a quintet of stones?
Could it be because Goliath had four relatives the size of Tyrannosaurus rex? For all David knew, they’d come running
over the hill to defend their kin. David was ready to empty the chamber if that’s what it took. Imitate him. Never give up.
One prayer might not be enough. One apology might not do it. One day or month of resolve might not suffice. You may get
knocked down a time or two . . . but don’t quit. Keep loading the rocks. Keep swinging the sling. David took five stones. He made five decisions. Do likewise . . . Past. Prayer . . . Priority . . . Passion . . . And persistence. Next time Goliath wakes you up, reach for a stone. Odds are, he’ll be out of the room before you can load your sling.

CONCLUSION:
To take down the giants in your life, remember:
1. The stone of the PAST
2. The stone of PRAYER
3. The stone of PRIORITY
4. The stone of PASSION
5. The stone of PERSISTENCE

Take a moment to answer this question. Do you call Jesus Savior and Lord? Perhaps you never have. Perhaps you
never knew how much Christ loves you. Now you do. God did not disown David. He forgave David . . . He loved David . . . He led David. He won’t disown you. He simply awaits your invitation. One word from you, and God will do again what he did with David and millions like him. He will claim you, save you, and use you. When you render obedience to God, know this . . . Your greatest Goliath will have fallen. Your failures are gone and death destroyed. The power that made pygmies out of David’s giants has done the same with yours. How about it? God’s Plan for Man’s Salvation Shalom.

September, 2018 – GOLIATH

GOLIATH.
Text: John 11: 1-5
INTRODUCTION:
Our Goliath is always stalking us. We need to focus on God, not on our giant problem. He vies for the bedside position, hoping to be the first voice you hear. He covets your waking thoughts, those early, pillow-born emotions. He awakes you with words of worry, stirs you with thoughts of stress. If you dread the day before you begin your day, mark it down: your giant has been by your bed. He goes with you through the day. He says: “You haven’t got what it takes. “You come from a long line of losers.”He’s your giant . . . your Goliath. Given half a chance, he’ll turn your day into his Valley of Elah, taunting…teasing…boasting…and echoing claims from one hillside to the other. Goliaths still roam our world. Debt . . . Disaster…Dialysis…Danger…Deceit… Disease . . . Depression. Super-size challenges still swagger and strut, still pilfer sleep and embezzle peace and liposuction joy. But they can’t dominate you. You know how to deal with them. You face giants by facing God first. You know what David knew, and you do what David did. You pick up five stones, and you make five decisions.
I. THE STONE OF THE PAST Goliath jogged David’s memory. Elah was a de ja vu. While everyone else quivered, David remembered. God had given him strength to wrestle a lion and strong-arm a bear. Wouldn’t He do the same with the giant (1 Sam. 17:34-36)? A good memory makes heroes. A bad memory makes wimps. “Remember His marvelous works which He has done” (1 Chronicles 16:12). Catalog God’s successes. Keep a list of his world records. Has he not walked you through high waters? Proven to be faithful? Have you not known his provision? How many nights have you gone to bed hungry? How many mornings have you awakened in the cold? He has made road kill out of your enemies. Write today’s worriesGOLIATH “FacingYourGiants Take Goliath Down” 2 in sand. Chisel yesterday’s victories in stone. Pick up the stone of the past. Then select . . .

II. THE STONE OF PRAYER Before going high, David went low; before ascending to fight, David descended to prepare. Don’t face your giant without first doing the same. Dedicate time to prayer. Paul, the apostle, wrote: “praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints” (Ephesians 6:18).
Prayer spawned David’s successes. His Brook Besor wisdom grew out of the moment he “strengthened himself in the Lord his God” (1Samuel 30:6). When Saul’s soldiers tried to capture him, David turned toward God: “you have been my defense and refuge in the day of my trouble” (Psalm 59:16). How do you survive a fugitive life in the caves? David did with prayers like this one: “Be good to me, God
and now! I’ve run to you for dear life. I’m hiding out under your wings until the hurricane blows over. I call out to High God, the God who holds me together” (Psalm 57:1-2 ). When David soaked his mind in God, he stood. When he didn’t, he flopped. You think he spent much time in prayer the evening he seduced Bathsheba? Did he write a psalm the day he murdered Uriah? Doubtful . . . Very doubtful. Remember Isaiah 26:3 “You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you . . .” God promises not just peace but perfect peace.

Undiluted, unspotted, unhindered peace. To whom? To those whose minds are “fixed”on God. Forget occasional glances. Dismiss random ponderings. Peace is promised to the one who fixes thoughts and desires on the king. Invite God’s help. Pick up the stone of prayer. And don’t neglect . . .
III. THE STONE OF PRIORITY Remember your highest priority: God’s reputation. David jealously guarded it. No one was going to defame his Lord. David fought so that “all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel⋯for the battle is the Lord’s” (1 Samuel 17:46-47).
David saw Goliath as a chance for God to show off! Did David know he would GOLIATH “Facing Your Giants Take Goliath Down”3 exit the battle alive? No. But he was willing to give his life for the reputation of God. What if you saw your giant in the same manner? Rather than begrudge him, welcome him. Your cancer is God’s chance to flex his healing muscles . Your sin is God’s opportunity to showcase grace. Your struggling marriage can billboard God’ s power. See your struggle as God’s canvas. On it he will paint his multicolored supremacy. Announce God’s name and then reach for . . .
IV. THE STONE OF PASSION David ran, not from, but toward his giant. (1 Sam. 17:48) On one side of the battlefield, Saul and his cowardly army gulped. On the other, Goliath and his skull-splitters scoffed. In the middle, the shepherd boy ran on his spindly legs.

To be continued next month.

May 2018 – STRONGER THAN MOUNTAIN – PART 1

May 2018 – STRONGER THAN MOUNTAIN – PART 1

Theme: Stronger Than Mountain  Part 1.

Text : Isaiah 40:28-31

Prov 9;9. If you give instruction to a wise man he will be yet wiser.
Psalm 42;7. Deep Calleth to deep.
1 Cor 8;2. The one who thinks he knows does not know as much as he should know. Those are not ignorant but we can know more.
Prov 24;5. A wise man is strong, but a man of knowledge increases strength. We are already strong, but if we increase our knowledge we will increase our strength. And we need strength more than ever before.
To be stronger than our enemies we need to add knowledge to our wisdom.
A mountain is an obstruction to a desired goal.
External Mountain
For example the Red Sea, the wall of Jericho, Goliath was an obstruction to David’s throne.
Sam 17;8.
Internal Mountain
Heb 12;15. Root of bitterness
2 Cor 10;3-6. Stronghold of the enemy. Evil imaginations, evil thoughts, incomplete obedience.
Exodus 2;11-12. Uncontrolled anger.
Numbers 20;1-13.
Roving eyes. Judges 14;1. Judges 16;1. Samson.
Inability to control achievements, impatience. Unforgiving spirit. Telling half truths.
7 ways to deal with a Mountain
1. Turn back from the mountain.
2. Go round it. Sometimes they are very big  and broad at the base
3. Climb it.
4. Blast it.
5. Bore a whole through it.
6. Sit on it.
7. Fly over it.
Turning back.
Another word for Turing back is backsliding.
It is possible to backslide.
2 pet 2;20-22. Dust can return to above it. Galatians 5;4. It is possible to fall from grace. 1 Sam 16;14. Former prophet can end up to be demon possessed. 1 Sam 10;1-11. Saul once prophesied.
Many dangers in backsliding.
There is no doubt that we are saved by grace.
Nobody can snatch you john from the hand of God John 20:29  But you can withdraw. Example is Demas . Romans 11;29.the gift and calling of God are without repentance.. it is about the giver and the caller not the gifts and the calling. The gifts can remain but the giver can depart. Judges 16;18-21-22.
Roms 10;38. If any man draws back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
The one who gave the gift, said in Luke 9;62. Any man having lay his hand on the plough and looking back is not fit for the kingdom of God.
The Horrors of Backsliding.
1. Horrors of darkness. Colossians 1;12-13. Translated out of darkness to light. 1 pet 2-9. Called out of darkness into Gods marvelous light. Matt 25;30. Darkness is reserved for the fruitless servant. It is a place of weeping and gnashing of teeth. Judges 16; 18-21. Naturally the enemy should have broken the hands of Samson. But instead his eyes were plucked out.
2. Horrors of being an ex-champion. With his eyes gone, no more vision, no more dreams. Prov 29;18. Where there is no vision people perish or cast off restrain. Being an ex-champion can drive one crazy. It is better to die than to backslide. A backslider sooner or later will dance for the devil. A backslider will cause other gods to say where is ur God . Judges 16;23-24.
3. Danger of a fearful future. Hebrews 10;26-27. If we sin willfully after we have been saved, there is no more sacrifice but a fearful judgement and indignation. Danger of the name that was once in the book of life being blotted out. Rev 3;5.
4. The horror of loosing the crown. Rev 3;11. Hold fast what you have. ‘And come quickly’. Non of us knows when the Lord will come. 1 Cor 10;12. He who thinks he stands, let him take heed lest he falls. Prov 16;18. Pride comes before destruction. Mark 14. 27-31. You have not arrived until you cross the finish line there is a possibility of backsliding. 1 per 1;3-5. We can be kept by the power of God.
Note: Backsliding does not mean you are back to doing what you used to do do. If you are not progressing spiritually you are a backslider.
Backsliding also means lack of spiritual progress.

Pride is a killer. It goes before destruction.
To Go Round The Mountain
Numbers 14;28-34.
Going round the mountain is not an option. When the Israelites refused to go into the promised land, God allowed them to go around, until they were dead. It is like pretending the mountain is no longer there.
1 Sam 3;11-18. 1 Cor 313-15. Every man’s work will be tried by fire. If we have a mountain in our  lives let us deal with it today. 2 kings 20;12-19. Mark 1;23-26. The fact that you are regular in church does not mean you do not have issues with darkness. Mark 10;46-52. He knew Jesus but darkness kept him in bondage for 40 years. The longer you keep the problem the bigger it gets. 2 Sam 21;15-17. Don’t make excuses for your lapses. 1 Sam 15;1-30. Don’t make excuses, Excuses belong to failures. The only man who made excuses was the one that did nothing. Pride comes in a subtle way. When you pray for others and God answers . Num 20;1-12.
The sorrows of going round in circles are many. John 5;2-9. Settle the issues of your internal mountain today. John 9-40-41. Going round you keep living with it. Ps 100;2. Serve God with gladness. When your joy is robbed it leads to weakness. Is 57;61
James 1;15.
Climbing The Mountain

Exodus 24;12. The Lord invited Moses to come up to Him. He did not tell Moses to turn back, go round the mountain. The invitation was to come up. The opposite of climbing the mountain is staying in the valley. Staying in the valley is a terrible option.
The valley Matthew 17;14-20 has some terrible characteristics. In the valley below the mount of transfiguration, there was a crowd gathered.
The valley is a place for demonic activities. It is the place of failure. It is a place of unbelief. Matthew 17;4-20.
If there is a member of your church under demonic oppression and there is no deliverance , then one should ask, am i in the valley. Exodus 17;8-10. The valley is the place of attack.
The valley is a place of backsliding, merry making, corruption, divine anger and turning to other gods. Exodus 32;1-10. While Moses was up in the mountain the people he left behind did all the above.
The valley is a place of fear, threats form the enemy, discouragement, and even social thoughts. 1 kings 19;1-4. Reflects the story of Elijah during his valley experience.
1 John 4;18. The valley is a place of torment.
Judges 6;33. It is a place where enemies gather.
The valley is the place where the enemies set their traps. Judges 16;4. Samson found Delilah in the valley of Sorech.
Isaiah 7;18-19. The valley is the place where flies gather. Flies represent demons.
There is a link between the valley an death. Psalm 23;4.
People in the valley drink the water that the people on the mountain have washed in.

Advantages of the mountain top.
There are scenes of glory reserved for only the club of mountain climbers. Matthew 17;1-2. The transfiguration happened in the mountain top. Jesus went to the mountain top with his inner circle.
It is Deut 34;1 on the mountain top that you catch a glimpse of the promised land.
You hear the small still voice on the mountain top. 1 kings 19;12-13.
2 Cor 12;2-4. You hear divine secrets.
The mountain top places you naturally beyond the reach of the enemy. 1 kings 1;9. The enemies came to arrest Elijah but they found him sitting on a hill.
The mountain top is closer to divine heaven. Psalm 121;1-2.
The mountain top is a place where worship is accepted. Exodus 3;11-12.
The mountain top is where prayers are answered by fire. Offerings accepted by God. 1 Kings 18;36-39. It is where enemies are vanquished. 1 kings 18;40
What is involved in climbing.
1. Focus. Psalm 121;1-2. Heb 12;2. Col 3;1-2.
2. Climbing is hard work. You cannot climb if you are lazy. No effort is required to backslide. 2 kings 7;1-11.
3. Climbing involves traveling light. You cannot climb Heb 12;1 with unnecessary baggages. You must come out of the flesh. Romans 8;6-7. The lust of the flesh is not for mountain climber. 1 Cor 15;47-50. You may need to drop some associates. Drop any thing 1 Cor 15;33 that will block your climbing. Choose your friend wisely.
4. Rugged determination. Phil 3;12-14.
5. Self sacrifice. 1 Cor 9;25-27.
Thanks God Bless you all.
